Houston, TX
(ChristianPRgroup) - Anything one sees was at one time someone's idea. Ideas are everywhere and everyone has at least one idea. God reveals ideas to people that when manifested will glorify God, and benefit society. Although God reveals ideas to people, many people never pursue these ideas.

There is a familiar saying that some of the best ideas are in the graveyard. The meaning behind this saying is straightforward. Some really good ideas for products and services that could benefit all of society never get any further than the mind of the person that conceived them. Why does this waste of potentially beneficial ideas occur? The answer is at least three fold:

1. Lack of confidence - many people do not believe that God will reveal a meaningful idea to them.
2. Lack of knowledge - there is a lack of knowledge about how to pursue an idea.
3. Lack of trust - many people do not know who they can trust to truly help them in the process of developing an idea.

As a result of this fear and the lack of knowledge of what to do or who to trust, people just sit on their ideas. Eventually, some of these people die. As a result their ideas die with them. WASTED!

Hosea 4:6 talks about the consequences of not knowing. With regard to pursuing ideas, there are two main things people do not know:

1) what steps to take to develop the idea when they conceive it, and
2) who can they trust to guide them through the process.

The book, "Godly Ideas" available this summer, addresses the reasons why people do not pursue their ideas and offers concrete steps to assist them. The book discusses how our ideas relate to the building of God's kingdom. The book also contains an in-depth discussion of the different ways to protect an idea. The goal of the book is to educate, enlighten and empower people. Although many people have ideas, there are few if any resources that present information to people on this topic in an understandable and useful manner.

This book attempts to fill that void by providing relevant information about the Biblical, legal and practical aspects of perceiving and pursuing God given ideas. Empowered with this information, people can confidently, faithfully and diligently pursue their God-given ideas. Many undeveloped ideas have the potential to become successful business ventures. These businesses can stimulate the economy, employ people and revitalize communities. The current economy needs each of these things.

The author has talked to many people with ideas that say the ideas came from God. Remember, when God gives someone an idea, God expects him or her to pursue it. God does not want them to ponder the idea and then pass it on to someone else. When they do that, they also pass on the blessing associated with that idea.
