PR Distribution For Christians in the Public Eye
Christians in the public eye should be careful when posting or releasing statements to the secular media.In 1 Corinthians 6 verse 1 and 4, Paul asks this question,
"When one of you has a dispute with another believer, how dare you file a lawsuit and ask a secular court to decide the matter instead of taking it to other believers If you have legal disputes about such matters, why go to outside judges who are not respected by the church?"By the same token, why should Christians go to the secular media to post and release written statements, only to have the facts distorted? In Romans 14:16, Paul says, "Let not then your good be evil spoken of."
